Who we are
Finna Inc., a company in the United States, runs this website and the waitlist and decides how the information described here is used. Questions go to privacy@finnafamilyoffice.com.
What the website collects
Nothing that names you. We use Google Analytics to count visits: the pages opened, the site that sent you, your device and browser, and roughly where you are (country and city). On the investor pages it also counts whether a document was opened with its access code, never the code itself.
Google Analytics sets cookies so that one visit can be told from the next. Google runs it in the United States and handles this for us. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalisation, so it is not used for advertising, and it is never given your name, your email or anything you type. You can block it with Google’s opt-out add-on or your browser’s privacy settings. The site uses no advertising tools, and its fonts load from our own files, not from a third party.
The service that hosts the site keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address, your browser and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and running.
What the waitlist collects
Your first name, last name and email address, and the date you joined. We use them for one thing: to invite you in when your place opens.
Joining is your consent to that, and you can withdraw it at any time by leaving the list.
Who handles it
Mailchimp, a service run by Intuit in the United States, stores the waitlist and sends our emails for us. It may record whether an email was delivered and opened. It handles your details only to provide that service to us.
We do not sell or rent your information, and we share it with no one else unless the law requires it.
Where it is held
In the United States. If you join from elsewhere, your details are transferred there.
How long we keep it
Your waitlist details: until you leave the list or ask us to delete it. If the waitlist closes, we delete it.
Visit counts in Google Analytics: at most 14 months, then Google deletes them.
Your choices
Every email we send has a link to leave the list. You can also ask us to show you what we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it, by writing to privacy@finnafamilyoffice.com. We answer within one month.
Depending on where you live, for example in the EU, the UK or California, the law gives you further rights, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Children
The site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
The office itself
When the Finna platform opens, it will hold far more than this site does. It will come with its own privacy notice, which you will see before you add anything.
Changes to this notice
If this notice changes, the new version appears here with a new date. If a change affects how we use your waitlist details, we will tell you by email first.
